News 10: Beech-Nut redevelopment delays

CANAJOHARIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Efforts to repurpose the old Beech-Nut site in Canajoharie are delayed once again. It is delayed once more by an Office of Cannabis Management licensure process. The governor is taking a closer look at what’s not working with the process. NEWS10 has the latest on the newest delay.

e29 labs in Canajoharie was proposed back in 2021. It’s a 15-million-dollar indoor cannabis growing facility that will replace the old Beech-Nut site at exit 29 off the Thruway. It’s also expected to be a major economic boost for SUNY Fulton Montgomery Community College (SUNY FMCC).
